Walmart robots have been making headlines in recent years, but one thing they have never had to worry about is sex.
This year, the company unveiled the Walmart Robot, which can be programmed to masturbate and have sex with people in the room.
In an effort to combat the growing number of transgender people who choose to use women’s restrooms, Walmart is offering its robots the ability to change gender and be able to talk to women in a way that makes sense for them.
“It’s about allowing people to be who they want to be and feel comfortable with, without being judged or having to explain anything to people,” cofounder of Walmart’s gender diversity and inclusion department Lisa Smith told Business Insider.
Walmart plans to sell more of the Walmart robot and its other “gender-neutral” versions, including one called the “Male Sex Robot Vacuuming” that can help customers “become the man of their dreams.”
“We are the best place to be, we have the best staff and everything,” said Smith.
Walmart has also been investing in gender-neutral robots, like the “Robot Boy” and the “Female Sex Robot,” which will be available in the coming weeks.
It’s the latest example of a company that is slowly starting to catch up with the times, as companies like Amazon are trying to capitalize on the changing nature of work and the increasingly inclusive nature of the internet.
And, as we’ve noted before, this trend is growing fast.
The Walmart robot vacuum will only be available for a limited time, but the company has already announced a number of plans to expand into other areas, like retail and hospitality.
