A robot that is designed to make tea and ice cream is available for sale on Amazon for $1,100 (£745).
The bot is named Pepper, and it has a 1.2-metre-tall body, a 4-foot-tall (1.7-meter) base, a 10-inch (25-centimeter) robot head, and two legs, which are capable of lifting a small kettle.
The bot weighs just 5kg (12lb) and can make up to 10 cups of tea at a time.
It is the first robot designed to use 3D printers to create humanoid robots.

In the video above, a man in a red hat talks about the robot’s capabilities, which include making up to five cups of teas in a day.
The video shows the bot making a cup of tea and being lifted by its legs, and then being turned around and placed into a container.
The robot is also designed to be more versatile, so it can be used as a small kitchen appliance, or used to make other goods.
The robot also has a “featured” mode that allows users to adjust the robot to suit their own taste preferences.
The Amazon listing states the bot is not a toy, but it is described by Amazon as “perfect for a tea party, party, or even a family dinner”.
The robot has been on sale since December, with prices ranging from $1 to $5,500.
