The Australian company Robot Vacuums is developing a robotic vacuum cleaner which is designed to be the first to use AI and robots to operate autonomously.
The company says the system is capable of removing dust, dirt and water particles from the environment, which is useful for cleaning buildings and areas where there is a lack of water, air or heat.
“It can even vacuum up a bathtub to remove water from the bottom of the bathtub,” the company says.
“It can be used to remove and store water from a water filter or a water purifier, and it can vacuum up to 1.2 litres of water.”
The company has previously announced it will be working with Nasa to develop a similar robot.
The vacuum cleaner is designed in the same way as a typical robot vacuum cleaner, but with a robotic arm, and is capable to operate with the help of a human operator.
It will be used in a range of industrial and residential applications, the company states.
The machine will be manufactured by Robot Vacua and will be available for purchase in 2020.
The robot vacuum is also capable of handling heavy materials, such as wood, concrete, steel and aluminum.
It is also able to work with water.
